If you are still trying to decide if our donation management system is for you, find out about these new social media features. Volunteers, member, users - everyone - will be able to easily share donation and signup forms within their network of friends. You can also direct people to your Facebook and Twitter pages right from your online forms. To set up these Facebook and Twitter buttons: Click the Website menu item from your left-hand panel bar and click Website Settings. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the section titled Social Networking Sites on the bottom right side. Enter the links to your social media pages int heir respective boxes. When you are finished, go back to the top of the page and click Save Website Settings. Go to any form and make sure your links work. For example, click the Financial menu item from your left-hand panel bar and click Financial Settings. Click View default donation form at the top of the page and test your links by clicking the Facebook and Twitter buttons at the top right side of the form. You will also find links in the footer of each form that say Share on Facebook and Share on Twitter. These are already being used by state and county parties to handle the separation of federal and state funds as well as some non-profits that need to keep donations separated. We have added this due to the practices of some groups of receiving credit card information through the mail. When they enter the transaction for the contributor, they normally don't have an email address, so the receipt is never sent to the donor. So, when they receive their credit-card statement, they see our name on there and wonder why. Now you can find out without needing to call by using this form.
